Volunteer
There are three ways to help, and each has its own minimum age.

Drive animals to rehabilitators
Most people who find an injured animal have no way to get it to a rehabilitator. Drivers take it there, and the organization that takes the animal in confirms each run. You'll need a car.

Check the directory
Call wildlife centers, vets and shelters to confirm their numbers and hours, and which animals they take. You can do it from home.

Answer reports from home
Dispatchers read reports as they come in and help each person reach the right place. They see reporters' locations, phone numbers and messages, so we choose dispatchers ourselves. There's a short training, then shadow shifts before you work alone.
-
Service hours
If you need service hours, they're signed by the organization you help. Reporting an animal never earns hours.
